Lost In Confusion

SAMSUNG

A wonderful Saturday to you all! :-)

So what are your plans for the weekend? If you ask me, I’ll be sitting on the same chair and doing the thing that truly gives me joy. ;-)

You know, when I was a little girl, I wished that I had a different hair color, because I found black so boring. I envied the hair of Disney princesses – thick, long, shiny, glamorous, and not black (well, except Princess Jasmine’s hair hehe but she’s a beautiful Indian princess so I love her still). I especially love Ariel’s and Sleeping Beauty’s hair. I expressed that frustration with my hair color through drawing and I drew girls with their hair color anything except black and gray. But you know how one learns to accept him/herself as s/he gets older, right?

I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
– Psalm 139:14

Anyway, here’s a piece I was able to finish yesterday. It’s called “Lost In Confusion” (this post’s title). And it is also drawn with colored pens, just like what I did with my previous experiment. I hope you like it and do let me know what you think!…

    1. Wow, thank you so much! :-)

  4. you should consider getting into graphic design as a career. i like it.
    i often use henna to color my gray hairs. i like it because it a 100% natural, herbal, and it looks very natural shade, similar to my own chestnut brown hair, but an auburn overall tint and the gray areas look like red highlights.
    i dont like chemical products in my hair.

    1. Thanks for the suggestion, Fifi! I’ll definitely look into graphic design :-)

  6. I love the colors that you use ~ esp. for the hair :P It’s so striking :)

    1. Glad you like what I do with the hair! I am trying not to give in to the urge of coloring my own hair because I did it several times in the past and it made my hair dry, so I just resort to coloring my drawings’ hair like that. LOL haha

  7. Oh plus I see you in all your artworks ;)

I would love to know what you think! Do leave a comment below. And don't forget to include your blog url so I can visit you back! ;-)
